Mail Merge

A little more personal. A lot less copy-paste.

Write once.
Make it personal.

Turn your Google Sheet into individual emails. Write in Gmail, add a personal touch, and send from your own account.

One template. A message for each person.

Small details.
A more personal email.

A name, a company, a thoughtful detail. Your column headers become variables that make every message its own.

From a sheet to a conversation

Three steps.
Still your own words.

Read the getting-started guide
  1. 01

    Bring your spreadsheet.

Paste a Google Sheet link, choose a tab and an email column, then check your recipients. Keep the details you want to personalize in the other columns.

    Your contacts, already organized.
  2. 02

    Make it sound like you.

Write your message in Gmail. Add variables such as {First Name} to the subject or body. Send a test to yourself to check the personalization.

    Your familiar compose window.
  3. 03

    Send. Follow along.

Send the template from Gmail to start your campaign. Follow sent, failed, skipped, and waiting messages in the extension’s Campaigns tab.

A clear view of your progress.
Paper envelopes and handwritten-style note cards arranged on a calm sage desk.

Less busywork. More thought.

Keep the human
part of email.

Invitations, client updates, or a thoughtful follow-up. Spend your time on what you want to say, instead of copying the same draft over and over.

A few good questions

Before you hit send.

Need a hand? Get in touch.

What do I need to get started?

Install the Chrome extension, open Gmail, and connect your Google account. Prepare a Google Sheet with column headers in the first row and an email address for each recipient. The getting-started guide walks through your first campaign.

Can I use my own SMTP server?

Yes. Add your SMTP connection in the extension and select it as the delivery method. You still compose your template in Gmail and use Google Sheets for recipient data. Your SMTP provider’s limits and rules apply.

Does everyone receive a separate email?

Mail Merge creates an individual message for each eligible recipient row, replacing your variables with that row’s values. Review the recipient preview and template before starting a campaign.

How many emails can I send?

Sending depends on your Gmail or SMTP provider’s limits and your account. Mail Merge does not bypass those limits. Check campaign status for messages waiting for quota and a resume estimate when available. Delivery and inbox placement are not guaranteed.

Do I need to leave the extension open?

Once your campaign is accepted, sending continues on the server. Closing the panel, signing out, or uninstalling the extension does not cancel an accepted campaign. Emails already sent cannot be recalled by Mail Merge.

How is my data handled?

Mail Merge processes the selected spreadsheet data and email content to carry out your mailing. Content from completed campaigns becomes eligible for cleanup after seven days; account and campaign-history records can remain longer. Read the Privacy Policy for access, storage, retention, and deletion details.

What about consent and unsubscribe requests?

You are responsible for permission to contact your recipients, applicable email-marketing rules, and honoring opt-outs. Mail Merge does not automatically add unsubscribe links or manage a suppression list. See the Terms of Service.
